Leading Dynamic Teams: Lessons from Sports

There is a lot that corporate leaders can learn from sports, where teamwork, strategy and performance under pressure are paramount. Sports teach us what responsibility looks like.  You learn it by playing your position and doing your job; trusting that you have teammates – whether it be 1, 5, or 10 – next to you doing the same thing.

We’re bringing together exceptional leaders from both the sports and corporate realms to share invaluable insights on building and leading high-performing teams.

A team succeeds when every member knows, understands and accepts their responsibility on each and every play.

The parallels between sports and business are striking.
To be successful, both require:

Clear goal-setting and strategic planning

Adaptability in the face of changing circumstances

The ability to motivate and inspire others

Effective communication and collaboration

Trust, respect and accountability
